Who is a Candidate for Lip Enhancement?
Most adults are potential candidates for lip enhancement with Juvederm. If you are pregnant or using blood thinners, however, you should refrain from receiving dermal filler injections.
Procedure
Procedure
Dr. Lewis provides Juvederm dermal filler injections for lip augmentation. When you decide on the procedure, sometimes called a “lip lift,” it is important to choose your injector wisely.
Dr. Lewis understands the facial anatomy from both a medical and artistic perspective, and he has considerable experience and knowledge of how Juvederm works in the lips. As a result, he can help you achieve fuller lips that are not too large for the other features of your face. The goal is facial harmony with beautiful lips that do not look created by a cosmetic treatment.
Juvederm is not permanent. In order to maintain your results, you will need to repeat the injections every 6-8 months, although some patients have found that the results last as long as a year.
Cost in Richmond
Lip enhancement procedures start at $675 but the cost can vary depending on your specific needs. During your initial consultation, we provide a breakdown of all costs related to your lip enhancement procedure. We make absolutely sure that there are no hidden costs and no surprises.
Individualized approach
Dr. Lewis customizes every lip enhancement procedure based on your anatomy, condition, and goals. He will examine you carefully during your consultation and ask you a number of questions about what you dislike about your lips and how you would like to change their look. He will then determine the placement and dosage of Juvederm to create your desired outcome.
Recovery
Will anesthesia and pain relief be used during / after lip enhancement?
Juvederm contains Lidocaine in the formula for a mild numbing effect. Dr. Lewis can also apply a numbing cream prior to your injections, but the needle used is small and well-tolerated.
What happens immediately after lip enhancement?
You can go home immediately after your Juvederm lip injections.
How long will complete recovery from lip enhancement take?
There is no recovery period required after non-surgical lip enhancement. You may experience some slight residual swelling and bruising, but it should resolve within a few days. Once the swelling has fully subsided, you will see the final results of your lip enhancement.
What are the risks of lip enhancement?
