About a year ago I was introduced to this product Skinceuticals Physical Fusion Defense UV SPF 50 with tint. I was skeptical at first as we all are about a new product that we are spending our money on. Now it is my daily must have, I don’t leave the house without it on. Physical Fusion Defense is infused with translucent color spheres that blend with all skin tones, so no worries about matching your skin tone. It blends right in and gives your skin a healthy radiance Ingredients like Zinc oxide and Titanium dioxide form a protective barrier over the skin to protect against UVA and UVB rays. This product is water resistant for 40 minutes which is perfect for being outdoors or at the beach.
I am a beach girl and I love summer so I spend as much time outdoors or on the beach as I possibly can. Because of my sun exposure, I am very conscientious about using sunscreen especially on my face. My “AH HA” moment with using this product came on a recent trip to the beach. As I said earlier I do use this product on my face every day and my skin thanks me for it. As we settled in for a day on the beach, I applied a new coating of Physical Fusion Defense UV SPF 50 to my face, neck and ears. I then proceeded to use an OTC name brand Sunscreen SPF 50 to the rest of my body. Throughout the day I did reapply both sunscreens as directed. That evening after showering I noticed that my face didn’t have the pinkness (or sunburn) as the rest of my body did. I believe that my daily use of this product on my face and during my time at the beach helped protect my skin from the harmful sun rays better than anything I had ever used before. It does not run into your eyes, feel sticky or have an obnoxious smell to it. The Physical Fusion Defense UV SPF50 with tint is great to put on by itself, without needing any make up for those Saturday morning errands or out to walk the dog. The product is easy to use, and the bottle is a size you can carry with you for use throughout your day.
Shake well before use. Apply liberally 15 mins before sun exposure to face, neck and chest. Use before applying makeup. Reapply after 40 mins of swimming, sweating, immediately after towel drying and every 2hrs for outdoor use.
